Display Board Sizes and Dimensions Guide

Choosing the right display board can be overwhelming when there’s so many options to choose from.

But what if there was a handy guide to help you choose the right board for your needs?

Look no further. Below, we go into detail about the different display board sizes and variations there are to choose from.

Display board size guide

Display boards come in a range of shapes and sizes, so it can be a little confusing when you see different names used for the same type of display board.

Folding display board sizes

The most common display board out there is the folding display board – sometimes also referred to as tri fold boards or presentation boards.

Folding display boards are freestanding, lightweight boards covered in Velcro friendly fabric. This means attaching and replacing information on is almost effortless when using hook fasteners.

Below are the folding display board sizes and dimensions when fully assembled:

Fully assembled sizes:

A - Junior folding display board 1800mm 850mm
B - Senior folding display board 1800mm 1150mm
C - 6 Frame folding display board 1800mm 2050mm
D - 7 Frame folding display board 1800mm 2050mm
E - 8 Frame folding display board 2400mm 2050mm
F - 10 Frame folding display board 2400mm 2050mm

J - Wheeled folding room divider (x6 panels) 3600mm 1800mm
K - Wheeled folding room divider (x7 panels) 4200mm 1800mm

Pole and panel display boards

The other type of display board out there is the pole and panel display board system. Pole and panel display boards are covered in the same Velcro friendly fabric as folding display boards – the only difference being the boards are supported with poles and bases.

Panels can be used in portrait and landscape orientation to offer flexibility in how you set out the display.

If used in portrait, the panels will cover the poles from top to bottom. In landscape, a section of the pole will still be visible, but the spread of your display will be larger. See the images below for a visual representation:

Pole and panel display systems are modular meaning you can add additional boards to your existing structure to suit any size. For our standard sizes, see the table below:

Other types of display board

Multiscreen boards: Multiscreen boards are large but lightweight systems offering an ideal semi-permanent display board. Panels are joined together using simple connectors and fit into adjustable feet to stand on uneven floors.

Wall mounted boards: Wall mounted display boards are made from PVC foam boards covered in our Velcro friendly fabric. Available in a range of sizes up to 2400mm by 1200mm in portrait or landscape orientations.

What fabric covers our display boards?

All our display boards are covered in a durable loop-nylon fabric. This makes it easy to attach information by adding hook fasteners like Velcro.

This also helps to preserve the longevity of your boards by offering an alternative to using pins to attach information. Using pins will leave permanent holes in your display, so we recommend using hook fasteners instead!

Every display board is custom made, and choosing the right colour is just as important as the information you display. Choosing the right colour can help make your display stand out from the crowd.

There are 9 colours as standard to choose from including royal blue, dove grey and burgundy to name a few.

Summary

If you’re looking for an easy way to display fast changing information, a display board is the best choice for you.

There are plenty of different display boards to choose from that will suit your needs – from smaller table top freestanding boards to larger screen dividers on castors.
