Why use teardrop flag banners?

The flag printing process

All flags are printed using a special dye-sublimation process. This process involves the ink being pressed into the fabric material.

Using this print process, the colours on the finished flag graphic will be vibrant enough to be seen from a distance.

Of course, as there’s no external transfer print on this material, it means you can wash and clean our graphics without creasing or colour fading occurring. For more information about caring for your teardrop flags, see below.

Printing options for teardrop flags

For small, medium and large teardrop flags, there is the option to choose single or double sided graphics. As standard our flags are printed single sided. This is perfect when displaying a simple image such as your logo as the artwork is mirrored on the reverse with approximately 70% show through.

Double sided flags are produced in a slightly different way. Instead of printing on the same piece of fabric, we print the front and reverse artwork on two different pieces of fabric. They are then stitched together with a lining in-between both pieces. This allows for a clear design to be seen on both sides of the flag – perfect for displaying your messages on either side of your teardrop flag.

 

Matching your teardrop banner to the perfect base

For all types of surface, there’s a flag base to suit. If you’re looking to use your flags in different locations, consider purchasing multiple bases. The flag poles can be easily inserted into the base allowing interchanging when needed to be fast and stress free.

For indoor use, our 400mm square weighted base and cross base are recommended. To display your teardrop flags outside, we advise using one of the following:

• Drive on foot
• Water base with feet
• Large water base
• Concrete base
• Cross base and weighted ring
• Ground stake (for use on grass)

Teardrop banner care tips

Increase the longevity of your flag graphics following our simple care instructions. If you’re not planning to use your flags over a period of time, ensure the graphics are completely dry and folded away safely.

Before storing away, why not clean the flag so it’ll look as good as new next time it’s in use. Our flags are machine washable using a cool temperature setting. As the graphics are printed using a dye-sublimation process, our fabric graphics won’t peel or fade over time/washes.
