Blizzard Outdoor Banner Stand

The Blizzard is a single-sided outdoor tension banner stand built for all-weather use at exhibitions, sporting events, retail promotions, and open-air brand activations.

Standing up to 2310mm tall, it combines a hollow weighted base - fillable with up to 12 litres of water or sand - with a telescopic pole and adjustable rail to accommodate different graphic widths. The eyelet graphic system enables quick, tool-free assembly on location, and the whole unit packs into the included carry bag at just 3.5kg.

Product use

The Blizzard is the right choice when a standard indoor roller banner won’t do the job. Its weighted base keeps it stable in conditions up to Beaufort scale 4 (13–18mph), making it well-suited for:

  • Outdoor exhibitions and trade shows
  • Sporting events, county shows, and outdoor festivals
  • Retail forecourts and shop entrances
  • Outdoor product demonstrations and brand activations
  • Open-air markets and fairs

It pairs well with branded gazebos and outdoor exhibition stands as a secondary brand touchpoint, and is a popular choice for directing footfall or promoting offers at temporary outdoor venues.

Replacement graphics are available separately, so when your campaign changes you can refresh the display without replacing the hardware.

Set up

 

The Blizzard outdoor banner stand is simple to assemble:

  1. Move the base unit to your desired location.
  2. Remove the cap from the base and fill with either water or sand for added stability.
  3. Insert the telescopic pole into the base unit and open out the banner support arms on the pole.
  4. Attach the top graphic eyelets to the support arm hooks at the top of the telescopic pole.
  5. Release the catch on the telescopic pole to raise to the desired height and then snap the catch closed again to lock the pole into its final height.
  6. Unlock the telescopic bottom rail by lifting up the lever and extend the bottom rail to suit the graphic width.
  7. Push down on the lever to lock the rail back into place.
  8. Attach the bottom graphic eyelets to the rail hooks.
  9. Slide the rail stay cord to the centre of the base.
  10. If needed, adjust the telescopic pole to add tension to the graphic.
