Z-Fold Flyers & Leaflets

Z-Fold Flyers & Leaflets for Structured Six-Page Promotions

Bring your message together in personalised Z-Fold Flyers & Leaflets from Marler Haley. Two folds in opposite directions create a zigzag leaflet that opens out to reveal your content across three connected panels on each side.

This format gives you room to introduce your business, explain your offering and provide a clear next step, while folding down into a convenient takeaway piece.

A Zigzag Layout That Opens Out

A Z-fold divides one sheet into three panels, creating six page surfaces in total. With double-sided printing, you can use all six surfaces for your artwork. Single-sided printing leaves one side of the unfolded sheet unprinted.

Use each panel for a separate topic or carry a visual theme across the open spread. The layout works well for service guides, product ranges, menus and event information.

Organise Your Message into Clear Sections

Introduce your main message on the cover, then use the remaining panels to explain key benefits, show products or answer common questions. Place contact details and a clear call to action where readers can find them easily.

The format also suits step-by-step content, such as a service process or visitor guide. Plan how the leaflet will be opened so the information appears in a useful sequence.

Choose Your Unfolded and Finished Size

Select a size that suits your content and distribution method. Check both the unfolded sheet dimensions and the finished folded size before preparing your artwork.

For example, an A4 landscape sheet measuring 297 × 210mm can form a DL-sized Z-fold leaflet. Follow the template for your chosen specification to confirm the panel dimensions and fold positions.

Paper Stocks and Finishing Options

Choose from the available paper stocks, weights and finishes to create the appearance and feel you want. Consider how often the leaflet will be handled and whether it is intended for broad distribution or individual customer presentations.

Pre-folded leaflets arrive folded, while creased leaflets are supplied flat, ready for you to fold along the creases. Select the finishing option that suits your event preparation or campaign.

Useful for Exhibitions and Sales Conversations

Give visitors a structured overview of your products or services after a conversation at your stand. A Z-fold leaflet provides room for supporting information that prospects can review with colleagues after the event.

Coordinate the artwork with your roller banners, printed tablecloths and exhibition displays to maintain a consistent brand appearance. If you plan to use a leaflet holder, check that its pockets accommodate the finished folded size.

Preparing Your Z-Fold Artwork

Use the relevant Z-fold template for your selected size. Follow its guidance for panel positions, bleed and safe areas, keeping important text and logos clear of the trim edges and folds.

Check the arrangement of both sides carefully so the cover, internal sections and back panel appear in the intended positions. Avoid placing small text directly across a fold.

Print a paper mock-up and fold it to check the reading order before submitting your files. Review spelling, contact details and any QR codes, then choose your options and personalise your Z-fold flyers and leaflets.
