Charity displays that gain a good ROI

Charity displays that gain a good ROI

Choosing the right charity display can be tough. When funds could be used directly toward charitable aims, it can seem like a hard decision to invest in a display stand.

But, we know that displays can provide an exceptional return on investment to help draw attention, gain new supporters and vital funds to continue your important aims.

Check out our six top tips to help gain a good return on investment (ROI) for your charity using displays.

1. Keep it simple

A great way of making sure you get the most value for money out of your display is by making sure you can reuse it time and time again, rather than for one off occasions.

Think about the design of your display. Some charities choose to use display boards to have a long lasting solution to interchange their messages and photos on a regular basis.

Other charities choose to use simple branded stands with a logo, which will only need to be changed when your branding does.

Display boards are great for displaying these simple messages and with Velcro friendly fabric, they can easily be changed in seconds.

2. Make sure outdoor displays are weatherproof

Are you planning to use your display outdoors? The number one rule is to make sure whichever display you use is weatherproof.

Most banner stands should only be used indoors. If you want to display a banner stand outside, consider using a purpose built outdoor banner that can withstand the elements.

Other outdoor displays such as advertising flags and branded tents are also ideal for outdoor use – made from waterproof and long life material to ensure a display that lasts and looks great, for longer.

3. Save money with long lasting displays

Certain banners stands and pop up displays have replaceable graphic options. This allows you to update your display by yourself, without changing the frame or base.

As well as being eco-friendlier by reducing wastage levels, it’s also going to save you money in the long run as it’s cheaper than purchasing a brand new display!

Display boards are covered in Velcro friendly fabric – meaning you can update your messages frequently, and often in-house.

Important: Not all banner stands can have replacement graphics, so check with us before purchasing your display to see whether it is compatible.

If you can’t update the graphics on your display, recycle your display. Why not take a look at our recycling trade in scheme for more details.

4. Quality means reliability

If you’re looking to reuse your displays without having to purchase new displays every time, then look out for quality before purchasing.

Look for high quality materials on banner stands that will not curl or delaminate over time.

For tablecloths and flags, look out for those that are printed using a process called dye-sublimation that prints the design into the fabric, rather than transferring a print on top.

Compared to transfer print alternatives, graphics printed using a dye-sublimation process means your artwork won’t fade or peel over time. They’re even machine washable on a cool wash setting.

These quality assurances will make sure that your display will look top-quality time and time again without fading or cracking.

5. Look after your display

It may seem simple, but looking after your display properly will keep your displays looking great, for longer – and if they’re staying great for longer, you’ll be replacing your displays less often.

Take note of these super simple tips:

  • When packing away roller banners, ensure the graphic is rolled into the base slowly and carefully. By doing so, you’ll avoid potential rips, dents or general damage occurring on your PVC graphic.
  • PVC panels can also be cleaned with a damp cloth. Gently clean the panel and any marks or dirt should come off easily.
  • Clean fabric graphics using a cool wash setting. If you’re display has accumulated dirt or dust over time, wash it! You’ll keep your designs looking crisp and vibrant. Fabric graphics are also cool iron friendly.

Of course, if you’re having trouble with cleaning your graphics give us a call on 0808 149 4657 and a member of the team will be more than happy to help!
